Just as our founders recognized that recruitment was the lifeblood of our Fraternity — by the end of the 1869 academic year Sigma Nu at VMI had grown from 3 to 51 members — we must continue to recruit the best and brightest young men into our chapters nationwide. And, just as our founders recruited men based on the fundamental values and principles of Sigma Nu, so today we must attract the best men on campus based on those same values and principles.
