William (Bill) B. Geddy

Bill Geddy began serving as a Voting Director in 2021, joined the Executive Committee as well as the HQs Commission in 2023, and has been active in the Sigma Nu Educational Foundation since the mid-90s. He is a Sales & Marketing Leader in the Information Technology, Software, and Consulting industry. He has 20+ years in Sales Leadership in this industry, but previously served as a US Army Field Artillery Officer and retired after 23 years of service.

His alma mater is Georgia Southern University, where he remains active with the University, Athletic Foundation, and his chapter, Theta Kappa. He serves as the Southeast Beta Division Commander (South Georgia & Florida), as well as the Co-Chapter Advisor within the Theta Kappa Alumni Advisory Board, where he has served with numerous other alumni to advise the chapter since 2008 including 15 years as the Chairman of the AAB. After serving as Commander during the house fundraising from 1986-88 (built in 1988-89), Bill, as an alumnus, worked with an alumni team in the early 2000s to raise money to retire the note of the Theta Kappa House and make it debt free – it was the first house at GS to pay off their mortgage. Additionally, he is a noted Sigma Nu speaker, facilitator on Alumni Advisory Boards/Alumni Relations, and has served as a facilitator for Sigma Nu’s College of Chapters (Commander’s Institute) since 2016. 

Bill was recognized as Sigma Nu Chapter Advisor of the Year for 2013-14 and Alumni of the Biennium in 2012-14. He has attended 8+ Grand Chapters, all the Grand Chapters since 2012, and has served on the Credentials Committee for the last 5 Grand Chapters serving as the Chairman for 2 Grand Chapters. Bill is also a member of the Sigma Nu Educational Foundation’s Omega Society, where he is joined by 8 other Theta Kappa Alumni, and would welcome your questions about the Omega Society and the Educational Foundation. Bill lives in Macon, GA with his wife Meg (a college professor), and their daughter (Elizabeth), also a graduate of Georgia Southern, lives in Atlanta.
