Why join the Black and Gold Society?

Our future is promising. Because of alumni, parents and friends like you.
Today, Sigma Nu Fraternity is stronger than ever before. More than 11,000 collegians lead and serve on over 160 campuses across our nation. The recent academic success of our collegians includes a Fraternity-wide 3.0 g.p.a. Our membership has increased to an average chapter size of 72 members.
Our reputation for “Excelling with Honor” in the classroom, through leadership on campus and by serving our communities has set the stage for nationwide growth as more colleges and universities welcome Sigma Nu as a member of their community.
We can be proud of this steady growth and the increasing strength of our chapters.
However, this kind of growth always requires adequate resources to sustain excellence. And that’s why we are inviting alumni to join the Black & Gold Society.
This elite group is the backbone of the Sigma Nu Fraternity & Sigma Nu Educational Foundation. Each member provides an unrestricted annual contribution of $1,000 or more to help preserve, strengthen, and advance our Fraternity.
Ultimately, the Black & Gold Society supports young men who will become ethical leaders and make a positive impact on their profession, community, and our nation. We need to develop this type of leader more than ever.
To make this vision a reality, we need to recruit 100 alumni, parents and friends to join the Black & Gold Society as inaugural members in the next six months. And it starts with you.
Join the Black & Gold Society by making your annual gift of $1,000 (or $84 per month) or more. It’s easy. You can divide your gift into monthly, quarterly, semi-annual or annual installments—whatever is best for you. Simply sign up today.
By joining the Black & Gold Society, and by renewing your membership each year, you can make a powerful, lasting statement about the value of investing in Sigma Nu Fraternity.
As collegians, each one of us benefited from the service and sacrifice of brothers who came before us. Now it’s our turn to give back...and invest in the next generation of Sigma Nu brothers.
