Recall in your mind walking down the hall of 715 West Magnolia for a made-to-order breakfast, returning from class for lunch, or gathering with best friends and Brothers for a hearty dinner. Hanging out on the patio or the side deck in the afternoons, playing ball on the lawn before dinner. Gilligan’s Island, M*A*S*H, and Andy Griffith in the living room. Great times, for sure.
Standards of living for college students have escalated since we were in school. We need these updates for regular maintenance reasons and also to remain an attractive landlord for our members. Our goal is to receive $100,000 soon and to complete the renovations promptly.

with our collegians after dinner.
Former House Manager and current Lt. Commander and Project Lead Carter Deriso said,
Renovating the bathrooms will benefit everyone in our chapter community – current Brothers who are residents, Brothers who live out-of-house, alumni, rushees, and our regular daily guests. For the brothers considering living in the house, the current state of the bathrooms and showers is a major deterrent. Upgraded facilities would significantly enhance our ability to fill the house each year, which will further advance our Brotherhood especially across pledge classes as older Brothers choose to stay in the house. Living in the house encourages academic, social, and personal support among Brothers while helping to maintain and take pride in our living space. Beyond the daily life of active members, this renovation will also improve the experience of our alumni and their families, especially on gamedays and events like Parents Weekend. Clean, modern bathrooms would allow us to better host guests, including the amazing women who support and are involved with our chapter, in a more welcoming, pleasant, and comfortable environment. These upgrades are a tangible improvement that will strengthen our chapter today and for years to come.
Donors of $10,000 will be recognized on the donor patio with a 12 x 12 black polished granite stone; those of $5,000, with an 8 x 8 brick; and those of $1,000 with a 4 x 8 brick.
The value of your Sigma Nu membership is something only you can define. For many of us, it’s measured in the deep relationships we formed, the principles we embraced, and the unforgettable experiences we enjoyed. These experiences didn’t end at graduation — they continue to enrich our lives today in our communities, neighborhoods, churches, businesses and often at tailgates and reunions at 715 West Magnolia.
Your support is crucial. By giving back, you help ensure that Sigma Nu remains the premier fraternity at Auburn and our housing option remains appealing. This project will support our having the best collegiate and alumni Fraternity experiences in America.
A chapter house educational space study has been conducted and determined approximately 30% of the house qualifies for educational grant funding. Therefore, the house corporation has elected to permit 30% of your gift to be tax deductible to the full extent of the law. You will receive a gift receipt at the conclusion of the calendar year providing the amount of tax deductibility of your gift.
Thank you for your support of our beloved Beta Theta chapter, a Rock Chapter of Sigma Nu.
