Educational Foundation Launches New National Scholarship

The Sigma Nu Educational Foundation announced this month the formation of the first national undergraduate scholarship. Once fully funded, the Founders General Scholarship Fund will provide financial support to those brothers who best demonstrate the ideals of Love, Honor, and Truth in the communities where they live. The Founders General Scholarship Fund is the first in Sigma Nu history that will be open to brothers from any chapter.
The new scholarship has already developed impressive momentum, raising over $10,700 in the first two weeks. Applications will be reviewed and administered by a set committee coordinated by the Foundation board of directors. The merit-based scholarship will feature a web application process hosted by the Foundation website.
The new Founders General Scholarship Fund was developed in part to fulfill the need for more merit-based scholarships in higher education. The Foundation is also hopeful the scholarship will draw attention to collegiate brothers doing outstanding work in their communities.
