Each year the General Fraternity conducts an assessment of each chapter based on our Pursuit of Excellence Program standards. The Program is designed to evaluate chapters over three areas – Values-Based Leadership, Personal Development & Membership Value, and Operational Excellence. Each of these standard areas is further divided into ten subcategories which cover all relevant areas of chapter operations and development. It is our hope that through excelling in these standards a chapter will be effectively mobilizing the mission of Sigma Nu.
*To further assist our chapters in their efforts to excel with honor and pursue excellence, the General Fraternity seeks feedback from each chapter's key stakeholders. In addition to the chapter's own self-assessment, your feedback is essential to provide a full perspective on, and applicable suggestions towards, our chapters' improvement.
*Each of the following pages includes a summary description of that area’s key categories for measurement. Using these basic descriptions, please assign a rating to the chapter in each area based on your work with the chapter over the past academic year. Following your rating, please provide a brief rationale for the rating and feedback on how the chapter might improve in that area next academic year. Your feedback may be shared with the chapter to encourage their ongoing improvement.
