Sigma Nu is proud to offer AlcoholEdu for Parents, an online program for parents or guardians of students who are participating in GreekLifeEdu.
By giving parents/guardians the opportunity to access the same information and prevention strategies as their college student(s), AlcoholEdu for Parents aims to promote conversations that support safe and healthy decision making about alcohol.
AlcoholEdu for Parents includes:
- A brief introduction and suggestions on the best way to start conversations regarding alcohol.
- An overview of the course structure and key concepts of AlcoholEdu for College, a course similar to the GreekLifeEdu program your son has been invited to take.
- Direct access to AlcoholEdu for College, in an easy-to-use format that allows you to navigate freely from module to module.
- Helpful resources, such as tips on talking to your son about alcohol, fact sheets on alcohol’s effect on the brain, how alcohol impairs learning and memory and more.
Interested parents are encouraged to review the course by following these instructions:
- Go to: http://parents.alcoholedu.com/login.aspx
- Please review the minimum technical requirements available at the bottom of the login page.
- Click New User and enter the Login ID that was provided in the letter to parents. *Note: If you did not receive the parents letter, or would like to request a new login id, please e-mail us at headquarters

indicating such and include the name of your son and institution he attends. - Click "Submit" and follow the on-screen prompts.
- When you return, log in as a Returning User and enter the same e-mail address and password you created when you first logged into the course.
