Since the launch of the Helping Hand Initiative in 2004, Sigma Nu’s collegiate chapters have raised more than $22 million for philanthropic causes and contributed over 2 million hours of community service. Each year, our members advance that legacy by raising more than $2 million and volunteering upwards of 120,000 service hours in communities across the country.
Founders’ Month of Service
Coinciding with April 1, the birthday of Founder Greenfield Quarles (VMI), Sigma Nu observes April as the Founders’ Month of Service. This annual initiative calls upon every Sigma Nu member to dedicate their time, talents, and service to charitable organizations and causes within their local communities, reinforcing the Fraternity’s commitment to servant leadership and meaningful community impact.
