Day of Giving

Each October, the Legion of Honor comes together to celebrate the anniversary of Sigma Nu’s spiritual founding by supporting the Fraternity’s annual Day of Giving. This 24-hour campaign unites brothers and friends in a shared commitment to protect, strengthen, and advance Sigma Nu for future generations.

2025 Impact

The 2025 Day of Giving, held October 15–16, was the most successful in Fraternity history, raising a record $74,105 from 468 donors—setting new records for both dollars raised and donor participation.

Supporting the Fund for Excellence

Every gift to the Day of Giving supports the Fund for Excellence, which provides vital funding for the Fraternity’s leadership and educational initiatives, including:

• LEAD, Sigma Nu’s four-year leadership development program
• College of Chapters, leadership training for Chapter Commanders
• Sigma Nu Institute, annual officer training
• Behind Happy Faces and addtional mental health education and resources
• Lexington Leadership Institute, the Fraternity’s emerging leaders program
• Sigma Nu Headquarters, preserving the “Crown Jewel” of the Legion of Honor
