The Fund for Excellence
The Fund for Excellence is the Sigma Nu Educational Foundation’s unrestricted annual fund, providing flexible support for the Fraternity’s highest educational and leadership priorities. Gifts to the Fund for Excellence help sustain programs such as LEAD, College of Chapters, Sigma Nu Institute, the Lexington Leadership Institute, mental health education, Navigators mentorship program and other initiatives that strengthen chapters, develop ethical leaders, and advance Sigma Nu’s mission. By supporting the Fund for Excellence, donors empower the Foundation to address the Fraternity’s greatest needs while investing in the success of current and future generations of brothers.
The Mighty Oaks Campaign
The Mighty Oaks Campaign is the Sigma Nu Educational Foundation’s campaign to preserve, enhance, and expand the Fraternity’s Headquarters campus in Lexington, Virginia. By funding key facility improvements, historic preservation projects, and the Lexington Leadership Institute endowment, the campaign ensures that Sigma Nu’s Headquarters remains the heart of the Legion of Honor—a place where brothers gather to celebrate our heritage, develop ethical leaders, and prepare future generations to carry forward the principles of Love, Honor, and Truth.
Leadership Development Experiences
Sigma Nu’s leadership development programs—including College of Chapters, Sigma Nu Institute, and the Lexington Leadership Institute—are among the Fraternity’s most important investments in the future of the Legion of Honor. National Scholarship Funds
The Sigma Nu Educational Foundation’s National Scholarship Funds invest directly in the academic success and leadership development of undergraduate brothers. By providing merit-based scholarships that recognize academic achievement, campus involvement, and a commitment to the principles of Love, Honor, and Truth, these funds help reduce financial barriers while encouraging excellence both in and out of the classroom.
