Preserving Our Legacy – Building Our Future at EWU

Founded in 1963 at Eastern Washington State College as Beta Delta Theta Fraternity, our chapter quickly grew and, in 1970, became the Theta Lambda Chapter of Sigma Nu Fraternity.  After a closure during the Vietnam Era, the chapter re-chartered in 1988. Sigma Nu has been a strong and influential presence at Eastern Washington University ever since.

Sigma Nu has a rich tradition of fostering leadership, character, and lifelong bonds among its members. Our focus on honor and personal development has helped countless individuals grow into strong leaders and supportive friends. Brotherhood in Sigma Nu isn’t just about shared experiences during college—it’s about a lifelong commitment to integrity and camaraderie.
