The Gamma Iota Chapter at the University of Kentucky earned several of the institution’s highest fraternity honors during the annual Fraternity and Sorority Life Awards. Gamma Iota was named the recipient of the Dean’s Cup Chapter of the Year, while also receiving the Interfraternity Council Commitment to Community Award and the Gary Beach Fire Safety Award. The chapter’s individual members were also recognized for their outstanding contributions. Brother Teague Howell was named IFC Member of the Year, and Brother Max Libby received the Fraternity and Sorority Life Integral Innovator Award.

The Gamma Iota Chapter at the University of Kentucky earned top honors at this year’s Greek Awards, taking home the prestigious Dean’s Cup Chapter of the Year. The chapter was also recognized with the IFC Commitment to Community Award and the Gary Beach Fire Safety Award, reflecting its dedication to service and chapter excellence. Individual honors included Brother Teague Howell, who was named IFC Member of the Year, and Brother Max Libby, who received the FSL Integral Innovator Award.

On November 15, the Gamma Iota Chapter at the University of Kentucky claimed the overall championship at Bring-It-On, a campus cheer competition pairing IFC fraternities with Panhellenic sororities to perform high-energy routines for philanthropy. Teaming up with the UK chapter of Alpha Phi, the chapter delivered an impressive cheer and stunt performance while raising more than $14,000 for the Make-A-Wish Foundation. The victory marked Gamma Iota’s second consecutive first-place finish in the competition, capping off back-to-back years of impact. Across the two years, the partnership has generated more than $25,000 in support of Make-A-Wish, helping grant life-changing wishes for children facing critical illnesses.

On Sunday, October 12, the brothers of the Gamma Iota Chapter at the University of Kentucky partnered with the UK chapter of Alpha Chi Omega to host the chapter’s annual Paint Wars philanthropy event. This year’s competition brought together 65 teams from student organizations across campus and raised over $24,000 for Greenhouse17, which supports victims of domestic violence.
