The Epsilon Chi Chapter at Bowling Green State University celebrated a major milestone during the weekend of April 18, commemorating the chapter’s 80th anniversary with a reunion that brought alumni and undergraduates together to honor eight decades of brotherhood. Brothers from across the chapter’s history returned to reconnect, share memories, and strengthen the lifelong bonds that define the Sigma Nu experience. The celebration also provided current members with the opportunity to build relationships with alumni whose leadership and service have helped shape Epsilon Chi’s legacy. A highlight of the weekend was the induction of several distinguished alumni into the chapter’s Hall of Honor, recognizing their exceptional dedication and lasting contributions to Epsilon Chi.

Members of the Epsilon Chi Chapter at Bowling Green State University earned well-deserved recognition at this year’s Fraternity & Sorority Life Awards, marking a significant milestone for the chapter. Brother Dylan Sackett (pictured) was named IFC Chapter President of the Year, receiving the Thomas D. Hayn Outstanding Interfraternity Chapter President Scholarship, while Connor Sherman was honored with the Stone Foltz Community of Care Award for his commitment to fostering a safe and supportive campus environment. The chapter was also part of a collaborative effort recognized with the “I’m In” Impact Initiative Award for Sigma Serves, a multi-chapter partnership addressing food insecurity through Grab N Go meal support. These honors reflect the continued growth and impact of Epsilon Chi, as well as the dedication of its members and alumni leaders in shaping a culture of excellence.

In mid-November, the Epsilon Chi Chapter at Bowling Green State University-Including ten brothers, nine candidates, and three alumni – had the opportunity to travel to Lexington, Va., for a pilgrimage to the Fraternity’s national headquarters. While in town, the group toured the headquarters campus and visited the Virginia Military Institute. The visit was capped by a meaningful milestone as the chapter initiated its newest brothers in the Fraternity’s historic Alpha Room.

Over the weekend of July 26, the Epsilon Chi Chapter at Bowling Green State University hosted it’s 25th annual Camp-In. At this year’s Camp-In, Epsilon Chi Chapter alumni gathered at the home of alumnus Dick Schultz and his wife Dorie for the reunion. Camp-OUT/Camp-IN are long-running traditions for Epsilon Chi Chapter alumni. The Camp-OUT started in 1974 at Delaware State Park and continued until about 1987. The only Camp-IN back then was in the Epsilon Chi Chapter house in 1989. After Dick Schultz and his wife Dorie built their new home in Richfield in 2000, the Schultz began hosting the Camp-IN and have continued each year except for one during the pandemic.
