High Council
The High Council serves as the board of directors of Sigma Nu Fraternity, Inc. The Council is composed of seven volunteer alumni elected by the Fraternity’s Grand Chapter (legislative convention). The Council is responsible for governing the affairs of the Fraternity during the interval between Grand Chapters.

Division Commanders
- Assist the General Fraternity staff with the recruitment, training, and maintenance of a Chapter Advisor and an Alumni Advisory Board for each Chapter in his Division.
- Assist the General Fraternity in the effort to establish a regional alumni club in his Division.
- Assist the General Fraternity with House Corporation matters in his Division as needed.
- Assist the General Fraternity in establishing Alumni Chapters for each Chapter in his Division.
- Perform such duties as may be prescribed by The Law, the Grand Chapter, and as may be assigned by the Regent or High Council.
- Division Commanders will be appointed for the term of each biennium or as otherwise determined by the High Council.
- Division Commanders will receive (one time only) the official Division Commander Badge to be worn during and after the term of appointment.
- Division Commanders who submit all semiannual Division Commander Status Reports during the term will receive a full discount off the standard registration fee for Grand Chapter, and other Fraternity convocations determined appropriate by the High Council.
- Division Commanders, who submit all semiannual Division Commander Status Reports during the term, will receive a discount worth one-half the standard room rate for each night of the Grand Chapter, and other
- Fraternity convocations as determined appropriate by the High Council.
- The General Fraternity will coordinate with each newly appointed Division Commander his participation in a Division Commander Workshop.
