The Service & Philanthropy Awards recognize chapters that have made an exceptional impact through volunteer service and charitable giving in support of their communities and meaningful causes.

This award recognizes the chapter with the highest average of verified community service hours per member during the previous academic year.

Pursuit of Excellence Program & Rock Chapter Awards
The Pursuit of Excellence Program is Sigma Nu Fraternity’s chapter assessment, standards, and improvement initiative. Chapters that achieve an overall level of excellence in one of the program’s three standards areas — Principles-Based Leadership, Personal Development & Membership Value, and Operational Excellence — are recognized with awards in those respective categories. Chapters that maintain average ratings of “Very Good” to “Excellence” across all ten subcategories throughout the biennium earn recognition as a Rock Chapter, the Fraternity’s highest honor for collegiate chapters.
