Sigma Nu Fraternity is proud to be expanding to the Pennsylvania College of Technology (Penn College) in the spring of 2008. Working closely with Penn College officials and local Sigma Nu alumni, Sigma Nu will be one of several Greek organizations to colonize over the next several years as a part of the establishment of a new Greek Community on campus. After the colony is established and a charter is ultimately granted at Penn College, each of the members of this fraternity will be considered the Founding Fathers of a new Sigma Nu chapter.
Sigma Nu is committed to its founding principles of Love, Honor and Truth, and has stood in firm opposition to hazing since being founded in 1869 at the Virginia Military Institute. We are looking for outstanding men who want to get involved on campus, gain valuable leadership skills and training, develop themselves personally and professionally, create meaningful and lifelong relationships and get the most out of their collegiate experience.
This is going to be a once in a lifetime opportunity to build a truly outstanding organization and create a legacy of honor. The traditions started here will be known 50 to 100 years from now and will be started by the men who join today.
