Legislative Guidelines

Grand Chapter legislative proposals should be received at the Sigma Nu Fraternity Headquarters office, in writing, and in proper form, no later than May 5, 2023, to allow for advance review by the appropriate Grand Chapter committee. The proper formatting and instructions for submitting legislative proposals are provided below.

Instructions for Proposing Legislation

Prepare proposals for legislation - amendments to The Law of Sigma Nu Fraternity, Inc. or resolutions by the Grand Chapter - using the format below.

Proposals should be submitted:

• By email to gc.info@sigmanu.org, as a PDF or Word attachment; or,
• Should be typed or printed on standard 8.5" by 11" paper and mailed to the General Fraternity at the address below.

Proposals should be submitted by May 5, 2023. For any questions about legislative proposals, please contact gc.info@sigmanu.org.
