Robert E. Durham
Robert Durham, Mu (Georgia)/Beta Theta (Auburn), was initiated by the Mu Chapter in 1976 and served as a two-term Commander of the collegiate chapter during his undergraduate days at the University of Georgia. Robert has remained active in Sigma Nu since his initiation. He has served as a chapter advisor and long-term house corporation president. He was also a key leader of the recent campaign to build a new chapter home for Mu Chapter. In 2006, Robert was appointed to the board of managers of Fifth Point Properties, LLC, the Fraternity’s housing concern. He served Fifth Point until his appointment to the High Council. Robert served in several capacities on the High Council including a term as Regent from 2010-2012. Shortly after his term as Regent concluded, Robert accepted an invitation to join the Board of Directors of the Sigma Nu Educational Foundation.
Professionally, Robert is a successful investment banker, based in Atlanta. He works for Wells Fargo Advisors, focusing on private banking. In 1979, Robert received his BBA degree in Finance from the University of Georgia.
Robert and his wife, Cheryl, make their home in Atlanta. Robert’s son, Stephen, is an initiate of the Beta Theta Chapter of Sigma Nu at Auburn University. Robert is also the proud father of two daughters. Robert is the President of the Marabou Ranch, an 1800 acre sustainable ranch development in Steamboat Springs, Colorado. He enjoys hunting, fly-fishing and competing in triathlons.
