Ben A. Buettell

Ben Buettell, Gamma Beta (Northwestern), currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Sigma Nu Educational Foundation. Ben also holds the title of President of the Gamma Beta Foundation which provides financial aid, scholarships and educational opportunities to active members of Gamma Beta Chapter. He also serves as Vice President and Treasurer of the Sigma Nu Alumni Association of Evanston (SNAA) which provides oversight of the active chapter's operations. Ben has been actively involved with SNAA since 1984 (the year he graduated). While a member of the active chapter, he served as Lt. Commander and Commander. During 2014, he was the main liaison with Northwestern University in connection with the renovation of the chapter house as part of the recolonization effort.
Ben is co-founder and partner of R7 Partners, an early stage technology venture firm, located in Chicago. Previously, he spent 24 years at Houlihan Lokey where he served as a strategic and financial advisor to public and private companies. He resides in Evanston, IL with his wife, Tracey, and stays active raising two teenage daughters.
