Executive Director Selected For FEA President-Elect

Lexington, Va. - Sigma Nu Fraternity is pleased to announce that Executive Director Brad Beacham(Texas Christian) was elected as president-elect of the Fraternity Executives Association (FEA) on July 9,during the annual meeting of the Association in Chicago. Brad's one-year term as president of the FEAwill begin in July 2012.

Regent Robert E. Durham (Georgia) said, “All of us at Sigma Nu are extremely proud of Brad and hisservice with the FEA. His election is not only a reflection of the high regard Brad's peers have for him,but also the high regard they have for Sigma Nu. Having attended numerous interfraternity meetings withBrad the last few years, I can tell you he is clearly a thought leader and respected voice among Fraternity executives.

”Brad has worked for the Fraternity's staff team since graduating from Texas Christian University in 1990.His service as Executive Director began in 1997 and he has served on the FEA's board of directors since2009. Brad has held leadership positions in other interfraternal organizations including the NorthAmerican Interfraternity Conference and FIPG, Inc., the leading risk management association for Greekorganizations, of which he is a past board member and past president.

Sigma Nu Fraternity has a long history of interfraternal leadership, locally and nationally, including twopast presidents of the FEA: Brother M.E. "Mo" Littlefield (Maine), 1989-1990, and Brother RichardR. "Dick" Fletcher (Penn State), 1969-1970. The Fraternity encourages and supports its members inholding interfraternal leadership positions to influence a successful future for the greater Greekcommunity. Sigma Nu was a founding member of the Fraternity Executives Association, the NorthAmerican Interfraternity Conference and FIPG, Inc.

The Fraternity Executives Association is the professional association of men's and women's fraternityexecutives. It is dedicated to the common interests of its members and promotes, supports andencourages the free exchange of ideas relating to college fraternal organizations.

Other members of the FEA’s board of directors are Larry Stanton Wiese of Kappa Alpha Order,President; Mark S. Briscoe of Sigma Pi Fraternity, Secretary-Treasurer; Betsy Sierk Corridan of KappaAlpha Theta Sorority, Director; Cari F. Cook of Delta Delta Delta Fraternity, Director; and Mark E.Timmes of Pi Kappa Phi Fraternity, Immediate Past President.

Sigma Nu Fraternity, headquartered in Lexington, Virginia, was founded at Virginia Military Institute in1869 and has chapters and colonies on 177 college and university campuses in North America.
