FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

March 14, 2013

Lexington, Va. – Sigma Nu Fraternity, Inc.

Sigma Nu Fraternity, Inc. is pleased to announce the recolonization of our Epsilon Delta Chapter at the University of Wyoming during the fall semester of 2013. The fraternity looks forward to working with administrators, alumni and students to reestablish a positive presence on campus for years to come.

Sigma Nu is committed to its founding principles of Love, Honor and Truth, and has stood in firm opposition to hazing since our founding in 1869 at the Virginia Military Institute.

Originally founded in 1920, the Epsilon Delta Chapter was an active member of the Wyoming Greek community until closing in 2010. Now, Sigma Nu is returning to campus to reestablish the chapter and pursue its vision of Excelling with Honor.

As a part of this process, Sigma Nu will be offering a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to a select group of exceptional men to rebuild a Sigma Nu chapter at UW. Collectively, these men will define what fraternity means for them and create the positive traditions that will last for years to come.

We are looking for outstanding men who want to get involved on campus, gain valuable leadership skills, develop themselves personally and professionally, create meaningful and lifelong relationships, and get the most out of their collegiate experience.

A Sigma Nu staff member will be arriving in Laramie in August 2013 to oversee the recolonization effort. For more information about Sigma Nu, the recolonization or the chapter house, please visit www.wyomingsigmanu.com or contact the following Sigma Nu staff member:

Area alumni and prospective members are encouraged to contact us at the information above about meeting with a staff member during this time.

Headquartered in Lexington, Va., Sigma Nu Fraternity was founded in 1869 at Virginia Military Institute in Lexington and currently has more than 180 active chapters and colonies on college campuses throughout North America.
